Quick Navigation

Step 1: Open the LIC Premium Calculator

Visit liccalculator.app/lic-premium-calculator.html in your browser. The page loads instantly — no login, no sign-up.

Step 2: Select Your LIC Plan

From the "LIC Plan" dropdown, choose the plan you want to calculate for. We support all 9 major LIC plans including 714, 715, 720, 721, 733, 736, 745, 883 and 149.

Step 3: Choose Premium Payment Mode

Select how often you want to pay premiums:

  • Yearly — 1 payment per year (default)
  • Half-Yearly — 2 payments per year (1.5% rebate)
  • Quarterly — 4 payments per year (2.25% rebate)
  • Monthly — 12 payments per year via SSS (4.5% rebate)

Step 4: Enter Your Age and Policy Term

Type your current age (LIC uses Nearest Birthday method) and the policy term in years (e.g., 20, 25, 30). The calculator will automatically update results as you type.

Step 5: Enter Sum Assured

Type the Sum Assured (Basic Sum Assured) you want in ₹. For example, ₹1,00,000 to ₹50,00,000. Most LIC plans have a minimum of ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,00,000.

Step 6: Add Optional Riders (Optional)

Tick the boxes for AD&DB Rider (Accidental Death & Disability Benefit) and/or Term Rider (additional life cover) if you want them.

Step 7: View Your Results

Once you enter your details, the calculator instantly shows:

  • 📊 Yearly Premium (with GST)
  • 📊 Half-Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly premiums
  • 📊 Sum Assured
  • 📊 Accrued Bonus (estimated)
  • 📊 FAB (Final Addition Bonus) (estimated)
  • 📊 Total Benefits at maturity

You'll also see a success animation confirming the calculation is complete.

For Maturity Calculator: Add LIC Plan & Premium

The LIC Maturity Calculator uses the same inputs as the Premium Calculator, but the results focus on:

  • Total maturity benefit (SA + bonus + FAB)
  • Survival benefits for money-back plans (year 5, 10, 15, 20)
  • Total premiums paid vs total benefits received
  • Effective return on investment

For SIP Calculator

The SIP Calculator is simpler:

  3. Drag the slider for time period (e.g., 10 years)
  4. See the future value of your SIP instantly

Tips for Best Results

  • Use real inputs — enter your actual age and desired Sum Assured for realistic estimates.
  • Compare modes — switch between yearly, monthly, etc. to see the total cost difference.
  • Try multiple plans — use the plan selector to compare 2-3 plans side by side.
  • Include riders — AD&DB and Term Rider add real value for a small cost.
  • Save your results — use the PDF export to keep a record for future reference.
  • Check with LIC — these are indicative estimates; verify the final premium with LIC or your agent.
