Our free LIC Premium Calculator gives you premium, bonus, FAB, money-back, maturity value, and death benefit for any LIC plan in under a minute. Here's the complete walkthrough.
Step 1 — Pick the Right Plan
Use the dropdown to select the LIC plan you want to calculate for. We support:
- New Jeevan Anand (915)
- New Endowment (914)
- New Money Back 20-yr (920)
- New Money Back 25-yr (921)
- Jeevan Labh (936)
- Jeevan Umang (945)
- Jeevan Lakshya (933)
- Saral Jeevan Bima (860)
Each plan page has a dedicated calculator with that plan's exact eligibility and term options — easier than using the master calculator.
Step 2 — Enter Your Age
Use your current age, not date-of-birth — the calculator does the rest. LIC's age limits are plan-specific; the form will warn you if your age is outside the permitted range.
Step 3 — Choose Policy Term
Pick how long you want the policy to run. The dropdown updates automatically based on the plan you selected. For limited-pay plans like Jeevan Labh, the term and the premium-paying term are different — both are shown.
Step 4 — Sum Assured
This is the guaranteed life cover — the amount your family gets on death. Most LIC plans allow any amount above ₹1 lakh. The bigger the sum assured, the higher the premium and the maturity value.
Step 5 — Premium Payment Mode
- Yearly — 2% rebate (cheapest overall)
- Half-Yearly — 1% rebate
- Quarterly — no rebate
- Monthly (NACH) — no rebate (good for cash flow)
Step 6 — Read the Result
The result panel shows:
- Estimated maturity value (big, in blue)
- Detailed breakdown: plan name, SA, term, premium in all 4 modes, GST applied, total premium payable
- Bonus + FAB estimate
- Death benefit during policy term
- A small comparison bar chart (you pay vs maturity vs total returns)
Step 7 — Share or Save
Every result has three action buttons:
- 📲 Share on WhatsApp — sends a formatted summary to any contact
- 🖨️ Save PDF / Print — opens a clean, branded PDF of just the result (not the full page)
- 📋 Copy Result — copies the text summary to clipboard
